Scotland Run Park, is the largest of the county parks,over 1000 acres. 80-acre Wilson Lake offers passive recreation opportunities including fishing, boating and nature observation. The playground and picnic areas are across the street from the nature center. The nature center offers a variety of environmental education programs for all ages. Walking trails are located behind the nature center and also on the lake-side of the park.The 'Nature Network; a quarterly newsletter includes a schedule of events. Call the Nature Center to be put on the mailing list. The park is open year-round from dusk to dawn.
